Flooding or no flooding

I check out with gangs at the back of 100% Superstore (Sarawak River) around 16 hours on 13/01/2009. Lots of peoples are already there anxiously likes to know is it going to flood or not.
Fishing boat waiting calming at the wharf with some rubbish trapped in between.

Boy O Boy, guy still the mood for fishing and he actually caught some fish too while other "spectator" are watching the water level.

Boats taking shelter.
We are not sure what she is looking at but she looks cool staring at the water.
And, the great news is, no flooding around our area and most places water is retreating with many happy faces.

Backyard

Backyard night scene.
My father-in-law favorite green, Passion Fruit.

Farmer ??

Daryl with the Grandfather straw hat, younger brother Duncan's trouser which is undersize and a good smile of satisfaction. Why so happy ? Beats me.

Preparing for the Flood

This couple of days had been raining heavily and a lot of places in Sarawak region is flooded. To be prepare, our office also SHOW some respect for the water by trying to block the water from entering our premises. (13/01/2009).
We had actually seen the worst flood this year and today is the most fear day as it is the 18th of the Lunar Calendar which we lay men will say the "TUA CHUI".
It's lucky kuching is only drizzling and hopefully every thing will be fine and same for the upcoming Chinese New Year and pray we will not have a "Buffalo" which is in Hokkien, "Chui Gu" or in TeoChew, "Chui Gu-u" and in Hakka, "Shui Ngiu".

Garden

My father-in-law proud garden especially the passion fruits.

Duncan with the Sunglass

Duncan in Action ! However, the sunglass had been ripped apart by him in just a couple minutes as he is the ultimate destroyer of toy in the house.

Daryl School Progress

Daryl starts to attend his new school, Aviemore on 7/1/2009 and this is what I heard from the teacher this morning (8/1/2009).

He tantrum, cry and disobey teacher's instruction and kick door panel while lying on the floor (typical for Autistic children) and the school might need to ask him to leave after a trial of another couple of days if he is not improving.

So, need to wait and see. Not good news.
