2009 will be the year of OX and it is heating up slowly at this time of the year (03/01/2009). Nice looking lanterns and all sort of decoratives are on available now. The peak of the sales should be around last week of the upcoming Chinese New Year and it falls on 26/01/2009.
Prepare to meet last minute shopper and it will be massive jam everywhere you go during the last week of the festive period. (emm, just to make a remark, the jam will be of Kuching style kind of jam, hard to tell but you will need to experience it yourself)
